英语案例:In a nature park &Part B. Let’s talk.
一.教学内容:PEP小学英语第五册Unit 6 In a nature park &Part B Let’s talk.
它在学生已经学习过的山川、河流、湖泊、天空、大路、建筑物等名词以及对话“Is there a…? Yes, there is/No there isn’t.”基础上再来学习的一个复数形式的问答句型。
二.教学重难点分析:教学重点是Are there any…? 及回答 Yes, there are. No, there aren’t . 要求学生能够听懂句型,根据情景中的事物代换单词,并结合这些句子询问相关内容。教学难点是能根据实际情境准确使用单复数句型“Is there a…in the village?”或“Are there any…in the village?”及各自的回答方式。教师可通过反复练习达到掌握的目的,同时适当用中文提示达到理解的目的,同时教师要注意纠正读音,引导学生正确使用。
三.学情分析:本案例的对象是小学五年级学生,这个阶段的学生能较好地进行分析综合、抽象概括等逻辑思维活动,思维独立性有所表露。已经过了英语的启蒙期,英语学习有了一定的基础,对以往的知识进行进一步的拓展和延伸,对英语的兴趣也还在进一步培养的阶段,除了新知识得习得以外,更要注重其运用。因此,课堂的各个环节,包括引入和操练,都必须符合五年级学生的特点。
四.教学目标
知识目标:
(1) 能听懂、会说:Are there any … in your village?Yes, there are. / No, there aren’t.并能在实际情景中运用。
能力目标:
(1)能够向别人询问村庄或城市的环境状况并能回答。
(2)了解城市和农村的环境区别。
情感目标:
(1)使学生进一步了解家乡,激发学生热爱祖国和热爱家乡的情感。。
(2)培养学生的环保意识。
五.教具准备: 教师准备和设计好相应的辅助课件一套、录音机、磁带、鱼身卡片若干、一张乡村画和一张城市画。

七.教学步骤:
Step 1.Warn-up(热身)
1.Chant (Page 68)
The grass is green. The sky is blue.
The air is clean. The day is new.
The wind blows. The clouds play.
The river flows.
Beautiful day, beautiful day!
2.Let’s sing.The panda. (通过歌谣,既活跃课堂气氛,同时也复习Part A中学过的一些单词。并且歌曲The panda中涉及山脉(mountain),通过歌曲热身,为下一步的daily talk做好充分的铺垫。)
Step2.Review.
T:The song is about panda.Can you tell me where are the pandas?
S:In the mountain.
T:Yes.In the mountain,there is a clean river .(师边说边画山、河流给学生很美的意境)
T:There are many colourful fish in the river.Let me catch a fish .I like blue fish. 黑板上事先贴好了五颜六色的小鱼卡片,每张反面都写着一个单词,师从黑板上取下蓝色的小鱼卡片,示意卡的反面写着一个单词并认读:lake.l-a-k-e,lake湖。
T:Can you catch fish?If you can read and spell,the fish is for you.
教师示范后,学生马上明白了玩法。有漂亮的小鱼卡片做奖励,激起了孩子的参与欲,抓鱼的游戏用于此处,让学生觉得既简单有趣、新鲜刺激,又极富成就感。枯燥的读单词卡片的方法复习前面学过的单词对孩子们来说已毫无吸引力。一开始教师用漂亮的简笔画和一个抓鱼的小游戏来吸引孩子,不仅复习了本单元学生学过的单词lake,forest,tree,path,flower,road,house,building,bridge为本堂课后面的教学活动做好良好的铺垫,也活跃了课堂气氛。)

T: Is there a river/forest/park/bridge…in the city?
S: Yes ,there is./No,there isn’t.
T:Look at the picture.Is it a city? (CAI出现一幅乡村的画面)
S:No,it’s a village.
T:Yes. What’s in the beautiful village?
Is there a river/forest/farm/road…in the village?
Ss:Yes ,there is./No,there isn’t.
T:Are there any trees in the village?(师生对话中自然导入,认读新句子并强调any,板书重点句)
T:Can you ask me now ?(几次认读后,转换角色让学生问老师)
S1:Are there any…in the village?
T:Yes,there are./No,there aren’t. (根据学生的问话随机回答Yes,there are./No,there aren’t.引入复数句型的答方式后板书、认读)
从游戏过渡到新知,由单数形式过渡到复数形式的疑问句,循序渐近,由易到难,符合学生认知规律,学生在不知不觉中就接受了新的知识点。
Step4.Practice
1.T point the nature views of the CAI.Let the students ask and answer.
T:Girls ,Are there any flowers/houses/clouds in the village?
Girls:Yes,there are./No,there aren’t.
T:Boys, Are there any mountains/rivers /forests in the village?
Boys: Yes,there are./No,there aren’t.
Girls:Are there any…in the village?
Boys: Yes,there are./No,there aren’t.
(教师利用多媒体图片,用手指着景物,让女生问男生,以此来巩固新句型的问答方式)
Boys :Is there a river/forest/lake/road…in the village?
Girls:Yes ,there is./No,there isn’t.
(同法,让男生问女生,而我指的景物由单复数反复转换,句型的问答方式也随之转变,有些不细心的孩子一开始往往不看清就说,结果出错了,耐心反复地训练,效果逐渐转好,这时我便慢慢加快速度指景物,孩子逐步熟练并基本掌握这几个句型)
2.Let’s have a comptitation between boys and girls.(利用男女生互问互答的方式开展竞赛,答得一致且对的加2分,错的不扣分,先拿到12分为胜者。这个竞赛目的是强化知识并调动了他们的积极性)
2.Ask Ss to do pair-work, ask and answer. (两两一组,学生用主要句型对身边的环境或物来展开问答,对所学新知识进行操练,以旧带新,以新温旧,一举两得)
3.Game:guess in a minute.
CAI Show them different pictures.
T: Please guess with the sentence “Is there a…in the village?”or“Are there any…in the village?”the more the better.
T:YES/NO.
(游戏开始,CAI就开始倒记时,我在8个小组中各选一位学生,在规定一分钟内用问句猜图片中的景物及数量,对一句得一个☆,哪组得的☆最多为胜者,给予奖励。这个游戏既简单又刺激,它不仅需要孩子扎实地掌握单复数两个问句,更需要冷静、灵活的头脑和口语表达的速度和机智)
Step 5.Consodidation
1.T: Now, open your book to P74 “Listen and circle ” ( Listen to the recorder find what’s wrong with the picture in the book.and repeat the diologue) .
2.T Play the cassette, students listen to the dialogue and repeat the dialogue.
3.Take out two pictures and introduce simplely.
T:Look here. This is my village .There is a river in the village.It’s very clean. There is a bridge over it.There are many flowers near the river.There are many birds in the sky.The sky is blue,the air is fresh. I love my hometown very much.This is Beijing.There are many cars .There are some parks and tall buildings. But the river is not clean,and the air is grey…Now please describe your picture and write down..
(老师耐心向学生描述自己的village picture/city picture,学生在老师示范后拿出自己事先设计好的“我心中最美的乡村或城市图”开始描述,因为五年级的同学不仅要求能听懂、会说、会读,有的内容还要求会写,这个环节是根据自己的画用新学的句型组织一段话,考查学生的语言组织能力,有利与提高他们的写作水平)
Dicuss in groups.
(小组讨论,相互描述,由于他们画的是自己心目中的图画,作品丰富多彩,充满了想象色彩。因此不会因为相似而使讨论无趣。孩子们在前面写作过程中有困难的,这个环节可以边思考,边合作交流,在四人小组合作学习中得到帮助。这大大激发了他们的乐学情趣,既操练了口语,又培养学生的参与意识和合作精神。)
Each group ask onebody to report.
(师让孩子把画放在投影下作介绍,全班都边欣赏边听。设计这一环节不仅展示了孩子作画的想象力、创造力,更锻炼了孩子们的口语表达能力和胆量。在小学,孩子的听说能力一直是最薄弱的一块,但更多的老师却仍习惯“一言堂”。给还子们搭一个平台,多给孩子说的机会,展示自我的机会,不仅可以保持他们对英语学习的兴趣,也会让课堂更生动。)
T: Which picture is the best ? Which reportor is the best ?I think the best picture is‥ ,the best reportor is‥.
(在课堂上每设置一个任务,必须要及时评价。如果缺少评价,那么这个任务的设置就没有意义,也会挫伤孩子们的兴趣和热情。教师分别对画和“汇报情况”作评价,公平有效,并能使他们获得一种成就感。)
Step6.Summary and homework.
T:Great! We all have a hometown . Our village and city are very beautiful .We also should love our country and hometown..We should love the nature and protect our surroundings,too!
( 在课堂的结尾处进行环保、热爱祖国和热爱家乡的情感教育,升华了主题,有利于培养学生正确的思想情感。)
T:Are you happy today?
Can you tell your hometown to your friends?
Homework: 1. Listen to the tape and read the dialogue.
2. Tell sth about your hometown to your parents.
3. Do one thing to protect our surroundings every day!
(回家作业是课堂教学的延伸,课余给他们一定数量的回家作业能更好的巩固和拓展所学知识。本课时的作业灵活又独特,听、说、读、实践环节都包涵其中。注重了学生语言能力的提高,并要求他们在运用中习得语言。同时把每天做一件环保的好事作为了一项作业留给学生,增强了他们环保意识,让他们意识到保护环境要从身边的小事做起。)
